Klein Verhaal (Little Story)

Synopsis A shuttle bus full of ants. At the rear, lying on a seat is a small, red Egg. It rocks back and forth. At a bend, it rolls gently against Ant. The young woman looks at her Egg. When the bus stops, she holds it close to her so it doesn't roll away again. At first she doesn't know what to do with this new companion. Ant takes her egg to her job as office assistant and her second job as a cleaner. She sings to her Egg. She so desperately wants to take good care of it, but constantly feels that she is falling short. The egg grows and grows in Ant's arms, becoming heavier and heavier to carry. It is enormous and fragile at the same time. When Ant, on her way to her second job, has an accident with her Egg, she realizes that it needs more care and attention than she can give. She has to make the most difficult decision of her life.
