But Philippe doesn’t want to; he’s been invited to a hunting trip by his boss, and he has to go. At the same time, she’s been handling everything for a month. Philippe no longer comes home, and she’s at her limit. Bastien goes hunting with his father. Let’s hope it goes well.

“Iceberg Safari” follows tourist guides Jørgen and Jørgen in Ilulissat, Greenland – one in his 20s with his mind set on changing careers, the other an opinionated ice enthusiast in his 60s. We also meet several vagabonds arriving in town, hungry for Arctic escapades. Together, they tell a paradoxical story. Tourists want to see the ice before it melts, but in doing so contribute to it. While local guides enjoy sharing their love for the Arctic, they also fear what it might cost them.

In a 1960s, decaying suburban neighbourhood, a young woman called Frosi, is trapped between caring for her alcoholic father, and the inexplicable hostility of the neighbours. Her only consolation is visiting day, when she can briefly see her imprisoned brother Yiannis. A series of flashbacks torment Frosi, revealing that it was a visit from a close relative, and its tragic consequences, that brought things to this point. When the psychological and emotional pressure from her environment becomes unbearable, Frosi will find a way to escape from the grim reality she lives in.
