For the 27th time, the BSFF is happy to offer you a selection of 289 short films from all over the world. As a space of freedom allowing infinite discoveries, short films offer us unique perspectives on the world around us every year. 2024 will be no exception. Whether with fictions, animations or documentaries, the directors of this year confront us in many ways with the issues of our time, with humour, emotion or even passion, and show us the full extent of their talents, proving once again that the future of cinema looks bright.

The out-of-competition programmes will enable you to travel by providing you the opportunity to discover (again) some of the best shorts of the past year with the European Short Film Audience Award, our Night of the Short and the Oscars, or discovering nez belgian films.
