The Short Film Corner | Rendez-vous Industry is a forum dedicated to short film professionals. Over four days (May 17–20, 2026), the program is structured around a series of key highlights: Panels, Keynotes and Talks to get inspired by the many visions of contemporary cinema, as well as Workshops and professional networking sessions designed to foster exchanges around key issues such as distribution, co-production, and licensing, in direct contact with the key decision-makers present in Cannes.

The forum also aims to promote free, bold and emancipated short film creation through its Creative Programs and The Lab, to highlight a new generation of inspiring and inventive producers notably through the New Producers Room, and to encourage the discovery of distinctive films, both in their narrative approach and visual identity, thanks to a curated market Catalogue.

For its first time, the Brussels Short Film Festival collaborates with the SFC | Rendez-vous Industry, who will choose one of the projects selected in the Brussels CoPro Market : Short Film Sessions to participate in its upcoming edition.

The chosen project will benefit from a dedicated support thanks to an individual mentoring session aiming at supporting its development. This mentoring session will be tailor-made and designed according to the specific needs of the project-holders. It may take place in Cannes during the Festival and/or online.

The SFC | Rendez-vous Industry will as well provide two accreditations* to the chosen project-holders (valid from Sunday, May 17th), granting access to the four days of industry events (Breakfasts, Panels, Masterclasses & Directors’ Talks, Happy Hours...) held during the Festival de Cannes.

 

* An environmental contribution of €20 excluding VAT (€24 VAT included) must be paid per accreditation.
