ICARUS

Synopsis Luca, a young Greek immigrant living in Cargèse on the Corsican coast, misses Greece. The boy finds solace in training and an obsession with apnea, an ancient sport that involves diving in a single breath. But his father, Alex, an ex-champion tormented by the life he has given up and the recent disappearance at sea of his wife while freediving, forbids him to pursue his art because of his risky behaviour. Unable to find his place in the village and at odds with his father, Luca is at his wits' end. The boy is prepared to risk everything to prove that he has what it takes... and make the ultimate dive.
