Closing Ceremony

On May 2, the 2025 verdict will be announced by the various juries live from Studio 4 at Flagey. The awards ceremony will be followed by a screening of a selection of winning films.

The films in the International Competition are competing for the following awards:

Grand Prix International
Award of a value of 3500 offered by the Brussels-Capital Region – Image of Brussels

Jury Prize
Award of a value of 1000 offered by the City of Brussels – Tourism Department

Best Actress Award
Award of a value of 1000 offered by the Department of Culture of the City of Brussels

Best Actor Award
Award of a value of 1000 offered by the Department of Culture of the City of Brussels

Audience Award
Award of a value of 1500 offered by the Brussels Short Film Festival

Arte Prize
Award including a broadcast rights acquisition by Arte, as part of the Court Circuit programme (awarded by an Arte representative). Films in the National Competition are also eligible for the Arte Prize.


The films in the National Competition are competing for the following awards:

National Grand Prix
Award of a value of 2500 offered by the SACD, along with €10,000 in services offered by Eye Lite, KGS, and Studio Chocolat Noisette, plus €2,000 in broadcast rights acquisition offered by Canvas

Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles Award
Award of a value of 2500 granted to the director of a French-speaking Belgian film

Jury Prize
Award of a value of 1000 offered to the director by the National Lottery

Best Actress Award
Award of a value of 1000 offered by PlayRight

Best Actor Award
Award of a value of 1000 offered by PlayRight

Best Editing Award (in collaboration with the Belgian Editors Association – BEmontage)
Includes a one-year license for Media Composer (Avid) and an MBOX audio interface offered by Diginet, plus additional support from Boxon (value 500)

Best Cinematography Award (in collaboration with The Belgian Society of Cinematographers)
Award of a value of 500 offered by the National Lottery to the Director of Photography

Best Sound Award
Award of a value of 500 offered by the National Lottery to the sound department, plus €2,500 in services offered by Eye Lite

Press Award

Audience Award
Award of a value of 1000 offered by SABAM, along with €1,000 in distribution services for the director’s next film, offered by the Belgian Short Film Agency (in the form of a minimum guarantee on international sales)
The winner of the Audience Award will go on to compete in the European Short Film Audience Award.

Arte Prize
Includes the purchase of broadcast rights by Arte for its Court Circuit programme (awarded by an Arte representative)
Films in the International Competition are also eligible for the Arte Prize.

BeTV Prize
Includes the purchase of broadcast rights by BeTV (awarded by a BeTV representative)

RTBF – La Trois Prize
Includes the purchase of broadcast rights by La Trois (awarded by a La Trois representative)
Belgian films in the Next Generation Competition are also eligible for the La Trois Prize.

Kortfilm.be Prize
Includes the acquisition of non-exclusive global screening rights by Kortfilm.be
Belgian films in the Next Generation Competition are also eligible for the Kortfilm.be Prize.

Includes the purchase of broadcast rights by La Trois (awarded by a La Trois representative)
