For the past six years, the Nespresso Talents competition has been highlighting local talent that seeks to initiate positive change on a global scale through film. For the second year in a row, the BSFF is partnering with Nespresso Talents and celebrating video creation!
Now more than ever, the world needs positive energy. It is in this context that the theme of the 2021 edition of the competition will be "Doing is everything", because the important thing is to act. A simple gesture, a simple action can have a positive impact on an individual, a family or a community and even make a difference to the world around us.
Send a video in vertical format between 2 minutes and 3 minutes (maximum).
The competition starts on Monday 22nd March and closes on 16th May 2021.
All genres are accepted (comedy, drama, educational video...), fiction, documentary or animation. Be creative!
- 1st prize: €1500
- 2nd prize: €1000
- 3rd prize: €500
In addition to the financial rewards, the winners will have the opportunity to be invited to prestigious film festivals and will receive advice from film professionals.
The Belgian jury of the 2020 edition, chosen by the BSFF consisted of Olivier Masse-Depasse (director, winner of 9 Magritte in 2020 for his last film Duelles), Sophie Breyer (actrice, La Trêve) and Romane Pangrazzi (BSFF) awarded:
- 1e price: "Le Dernier Cadeau" by Corentin Clouet (€ 1500 and an invitation for the BSFF 2021)
- 2e price: "Empty Windows" by Joren Slaets (€ 1000 and an invitation for the BSFF 2021)
- 3e price: "Plastic" by Sébastien Baillou (€ 500 and an invitation for the BSFF 2021)
