AURORE ENGELEN
After studying literature, Aurore Engelen created and ran a festival of African cinema in Brussels for 5 years. At the same time; she collaborated with different production organizations, managed the Magritte du Cinéma online communications and organized the workshops and professional encounters of the Festival de Namur.
Belgian correspondent for Cineuropa since 2008, she is editor in chief of Cinevox since 2016.
BJORN GABRIELS
Bjorn Gabriels is an author, movie critic, and the editor in chief of the independent magazine of film criticism Filmmagie.
RICHARD HARRIS
A graduate of Columbia University, Richard Harris started at Pacifica Radio’s WBAI-FM in New York City as program producer, on-air host, Traffic Director, Operations Director, and Program Director. He then worked for CBS-TV Network as Writer/Producer Creative Services, Movie & Mini-Series and at KABC-TV Los Angeles in On-air Promotion. He was awarded a CLIO. Currently he is a journalist for The Bulletin in Brussels.
STANISLAS IDE
Movie journalist for Métro Belgique since September 2018, Stanislas Ide gained his experience working for festivals. He first worked logistics for the LUX Prize of the European Parliament, then on programming for the “Giornate degli Autori” of the Venice Film Festival. He also selects the documentaries for the “Dimanches Orange” get togethers he has been organizing through his non profit “Tissu Orange” since 2014.
ALAIN LORFEVRE
Journalist and movie and graphic work critic since 1995 for the Libre Belgique. Author of Patar, Aubier et Cie – Destins animés (2011) and co-author of Image par Image – Le cinema en Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles (2001). Co-author of the webdoc Naître à domicile (2014) and of the application 14-18 Trip (2014).
GAËLLE MOURY
A graduate of the ULB in journalism and in interdisciplinary analysis of the European Framework, this 28 year old journalist started at Le Soir in 2011, first in their web division and then in the culture division.
JEAN-FRANCOIS PLUIJGERS
Jean-François Pluijgers was a film critic for the Libre Belgique for quite some time. After working as a programmer for the CINEMATEK, he is currently responsible for the film pages in Focus Vif, the cultural supplement of Vif L’Express.
